"politico" is about to turn 7 years old. we've had as our mission for sometime we want to be washington's dominant news room for coverage of national politics and policy making here in washington we want to be the dominant player in that. it's a vigorous competition day in day out. in order win the competition we need to do a lot of things well. historically when "politico" got started back then when we were an organization of 55 people. now an of organization of almost 300 people. from day one i think we did several things
